This two-day workshop is designed for beginners who want to explore the foundations of special effects makeup. No prior experience is required—just curiosity, creativity, and the will to get your hands a little messy.

During the session, you will learn the essential techniques to create simple zombie and horror looks using accessible materials such as fake blood, cotton, latex, and basic makeup tools.

Malta is home to an active film industry, hosting international productions such as World War Z, Napoleon, Jurassic World: Dominion, The Last Voyage of the Demeter, Foundation, and the upcoming Gladiator II. This course gives you a taste of the creative skills used behind the scenes of movies and series, while opening a door to possible future careers in film, theatre, or events.
